What is UPLIZNA® (inebilizumab-cdon)?
UPLIZNA is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with: Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) who are anti-aquap... anti-aquaporin-4 (AQP4) antibody positive; Immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD); Generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) who are anti-acetylcholine receptor (AChR) or anti-muscle specific tyrosine kinase (MuSK) antibody positive. It is not known if UPLIZNA is safe or effective in children. (Read More).UPLIZNA is the only FDA-approved anti-AChR or anti-MuSK antibody positive gMG treatment with just 2 doses a year,* offering you 6 months of time between treatments.

UPLIZNA is a twice-yearly infusion for adults with gMG.
UPLIZNA provides long-lasting symptom control with just 2 doses a year.

Don’t use UPLIZNA if you’ve had a life-threatening infusion reaction to it, or have an active hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, or active or latent tuberculosis. UPLIZNA may cause infusion reactions. Tell your doctor if you get a headache, nausea, sleepiness, shortness of breath, fever, muscle aches, rash, or palpitations. Infections can happen. Tell your doctor if you have an infection, painful and frequent urination, or nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, fever, chills, cough, or body aches.
HBV reactivation, progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy, and low blood cell counts may occur.
Live vaccines are not recommended.
